JOANNE'S KeyNote:

87% of business value is intangible. Where will the next 1% improvement come from, when traditional leadership left-brain logical processes have been maximized and optimized, leaving little room for gain?
The challenges of disruption, dealing with challenging business time and data and technology are the foundation of Joanne’s keynotes. However, the heart of her keynotes is our humanity; the power of leader values and art to inspire change. “If we hate it we won’t, if we love it we might. This is the reality of human beings. Above all, success is human.”
Recently, she has spoken at TEDx, KPMG, and CPA Australia (Singapore). A regular contributor to the Oxford Futures Forum, Joanne has keynoted and spoken at leading industry conferences including the Asian Banker, the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP) and the Project Management Institute (PMI).

The future will be defined by the intersection of logic and creativity, by our rationality and our humanity, says Joanne. This is where successful leaders, businesses, and industries thrive.

Her TEDx talk ‘Inspired Leadership: When Art Meets Logic’ helps business leaders and professionals create the future with a practical approach to merging logic and action with the expressive power of art and values.

Joanne held senior roles with PricewaterhouseCoopers and DBS, a leading Asian bank. She co-founded the Change Leaders at the University of Oxford and HEC Paris.

She is the author of ‘The Success Healthcheck’ (2010), editor of ‘New Eyes ~ the human side of change leadership’ (2013) and a contributing author to the best seller ‘Better Business, Better Lives, Better World’ (2016).

As the artist Booth Aster, she is the 2017 TEDx Artist in Residence at the ArtScience Museum. She has exhibited in the USA, Spain, Germany and the Museum of Art and Design (MAD) in Singapore.

Joanne holds degrees in economics, law, finance & investment and an MSc in consulting and coaching for change from HEC Paris. A global citizen, she has lived and worked on 5 continents, and now calls Singapore home.

When I want insight on trends and a pulse on the times, I know Joanne will have it for me and the audience.”
